Mandi was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a State of Alabama Volleyball All-Star with one Class 1A and two Class 5A State Championship Titles & a Runner-Up; making four years the All-City Team, All-State Team, and Top 10 Player List for the State of Alabama. Mandi was also a State of Alabama Top 12 Player for basketball with 2 Class 1A State Championship Titles.

She started her college volleyball career at the University of Montevallo; where Mandi was selected to the Gulfcoast Conference Pre-Season All-Conference team. This was the University of Montevallo’s first-time having a freshman listed. Mandi transferred to Queens University of Charlotte in Charlotte, North Carolina to finish out her last 3 years playing in the Carolina Virginia Athletic Conference (CVAC) as a Middle Blocker/Right Side. She was a 3 year starter and captain her Junior and Senior years. During Queens 2002 season, the team was ranked #1 for Blocks Per Game and ranked #10 for Digs Per Game for the NCAA Division II.

Once Mandi graduated from Queens, she attended law school at the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth (formerly known as Southern New England School of Law). She received her Master of Science in Sports Administration from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida in 2006. Mandi has been coaching volleyball for over 8 years here in South Florida. She currently works at Complete Ticket Solutions as the Manager of Printing Services. Mandi is also a former assistant coach of the Varsity Girls program at Alonzo & Tracy Mourning Senior High School. She enjoys on her free time creative writing and reading. Mandi believes that the continued growth of an individual is to never lose the thirst for knowledge.

DEE HAS BEEN INVOLVED WITH VOLLEYBALL IN THE CLUB AND HIGH SCHOOL LEVELS FOR OVER 15 YEARS. SHE HOLDS CERTIFICATIONS WITH THE AVCA, NFHS AND IS A UNITED STATES VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION (USAV) CAP LEVEL I CERTIFIED COACH.

SHE COACHED CLUB WITH SOUTH FLORIDA VOLLEYBALL CLUB FOR 3 YEARS AND WAS AN ASSISTANT JV COACH AT CHAMINADE MADONNA COLLEGE PREP SCHOOL FOR 2 YEARS. COACH DEE IS NOW THE HEAD GIRLS AND BOYS VOLLEYBALL COACH FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS HAS BUILT MOURNING SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL PROGRAM FOR BOYS AND GIRLS SINCE THE INCEPTION OF THE SCHOOL IN 2009. COACH DEE HAD GREAT SUCCESS WITH BOTH PROGRAMS. THE BOYS VARSITY TEAM HAS BEEN DISTRICT RUNNER UP 2011 AND 2012 AS WELL AS BECOMING CLASS 5A DISTRICT & REGIONAL CHAMPIONS IN 2013 & 2014. THE BOYS TEAM ALSO MAKE THE SCHOOL'S FIRST APPEARANCE AT THE 2013 FHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT IN KISSIMMEE, FL. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SCHOOL AND GMAC HISTORY, DEE'S 2015 BOYS TEAM WON THE GMAC CHAMPIONSHIPS. THEY CONTINUED THIER STREAK AND MADE IT BACK TO THE FHSAA STATE TOURNAMENT FOR A SECOND YEAR. COACH DEE ALSO HAS BEEN DISTRICT RUNNER UP WITH THE GIRLS VARSITY TEAM 2010, 2011, 2012, AND CLASS 6A DISTRICT CHAMPIONS FOR 2013 & 2014 SEASON. MOREOVER, THE GIRLS VARSITY PROGRAM FOR THE FIRST TIME MADE IT TO 2013 REGIONAL SEMIFINAL PLAY. THE GIRLS VARSITY PROGRAM MADE THEIR THIRD APPEARANCE IN 2014 FHSAA REGIONAL SEMIFINALS.

COACH DEE STRONGLY BELIEVES THAT OPPORTUNITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO EVERY AND ALL GIRLS, NO MATTER THEIR SOCIOECONOMIC STATUS, TO PLAY THE SPORT OF VOLLEYBALL AND BUILT THE CLUB IN ORDER TO FULFILL THE DREAM THAT ONE DAY, ALL HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE FAIR AND COMPETITIVE MATCHES AGAINST ANY SCHOOL BEING PLAYED.

KELLY IS A NATIVE OF SAO PAULO, BRAZIL. SHE WAS A STANDOUT MIDDLE BLOCKER FOR BARRY UNIVERSITY. KELLY WAS PART OF THE 2004 DIVISION II NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM. SHE IS A CERTIFIED PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER WITHIN MIAMI-DADE SCHOOLS. KELLY HAS BEEN COACHING FOR OVER 7 YEARS BRINGING HER PLAYING EXPERIENCE AND UNIQUE COACHING STYLE TO ALONZO & TRACY MOURNING SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL AS THE ASSISTANT COACH FOR THE GIRLS & BOYS VARSITY PROGRAMS AND REBELLE ATHLETICS. 

KELLY IS ALSO STILL AN ACTIVE PLAYER PLAYING IN TOURNAMENTS IN JAMAICA, BAHAMAS, BRAZIL, AND LOCAL TOURNAMENTS.

 Coach

Markia Brown-Seetal, known as Coach Brown, was born on August 15, in Miami, FL. She has been playing volleyball since the age of 12. Markia graduated from Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High, where she received a full scholarship to play for Miami-Dade Community College. After leaving MDCC, she continued her volleyball career at Florida Memorial University. 

Markia started her coaching career at Regis House Incorporated in 2003. She coached youth flag football, basketball, tennis, and volleyball. Once she received her degree in Physical Education, Markia became the head volleyball coach for Monsignor Pace High School. She has over 10 years of coaching experience in volleyball. Coach Brown has volunteered and assisted coach with schools, such as Miami Norland, North Miami Middle/Senior, and North Miam Beach Senior just to name a few. Markia continues to educate herself in the sport of volleyball, so she can give players a wonderful experience in the sport that both they and her have passion for. 

Markia is proud to add this year to her many awards a 2014 Girls Volleyball District Championship.
